Jr. Wildcat Fantasy Day, set for Saturday, May 9, gives Jr. Wildcat Club members the chance to experience what it's like to play football, basketball and cheer with K-State athletes.
JWCers will enjoy playing basketball in the morning with the men's or women's teams, followed by lunch. Lunch is sponsored by Liberty Mutual and will include a special presentation about kids and healthy nutrition. One parent or guardian is invited to join their Jr. Wildcat for lunch at no cost. Additional lunches may be purchased. All Jr. Wildcats in attendance will be entered in a drawing to win a Wii system with Wii Fit, courtesy of Liberty Mutual and the K-State Alumni Association. In the afternoon, Jr. Wildcats will have the opportunity to play football with the football team or cheer with the cheer squad.
"Jr. Wildcat Fantasy Day is a great time for K-State's youngest fans to have the opportunity to get on the field or court and interact with the athletes," said Tom Roesler, associate director of alumni programs.
Jr. Wildcat Club, brought to you by the K-State Alumni Association and K-State Athletics, is sponsored by KansasStateCars.com.
