Alumni Association to celebrate graduates at International Graduation Celebration

The K-State Alumni Association will honor international students graduating in May, August and December 2017 at the International Graduation Celebration on Wednesday, May 3.

The celebration will take place at 4 p.m. in the K-State Alumni Center’s Ballroom and will feature free food, drinks and prizes. Attendees will also be able to use an exclusive Snapchat filter during the celebration.

Additionally, the Alumni Association will present four students with the International Leadership Awards for their service and contributions to K-State.

The 2017 International Leadership Award recipients are: Syed Asrar Ahmed, master’s degree in mechanical engineering, India; Sai Pradeep Medarametla, master’s degree in mechanical engineering, India; Zayed Ahmed, master’s degree in industrial engineering, India; and Tendai Munyanyi, bachelor’s degree in management and leadership studies, Zimbabwe.

The event is free for upcoming graduates and one guest each. Additional guests will be asked to pay a $5 cash cover at the door. RSVPs are required, and are due by May 1. RSVP online or learn more.
