All jobs — with the exceptions of quick-turn proofing, template certificates (e.g. pavers) and no-change copies on the color copier/printer in the Communications workroom — require a formal request.
This includes requests for electronic communications, Web updates, photography, specialty items (e.g. T-shirts, cups, buttons, decals) and information regarding membership counts and database functions from Information Services. If you have any questions, please contact Linda Cook at 2-5051 or lcook@K-State.com or Jeanine Lake at 2-5059 or jlake@K-State.com.
Following submission of your form, you will be notified (typically the same day, but no longer than one business day) via email that your request has been received, assigned a job number and the writer/designer (Communications contact) who will be working with your request.
Please remember to complete the Date Job Needed field (Actually, it's a required field, so you don't have much choice!). This should be the date the item is needed either:
1) In your hands
2) In final form for electronic distribution
3) Or, if this is a mail piece, in the possession of an external vendor ready to mail.
Another important component of the request is Quantity Needed. If you are ordering the completed piece for a special event, please anticipate the number you need for the event and factor in any additional pieces you will need for the future, including three samples for Communications files.
