Mark your calendar for April 23-24, 2010, to attend For Sophomores Only! For Sophomores Only gives high school sophomores a chance to meet other students, participate in "college" activities and learn more about K-State. This event is held in conjunction with the All-University Open House.

Experience the best of K-State through displays and activities showcasing K-State's academic programs, students and faculty.
Parents welcome!
University officials will address parents during a separate session on Saturday on topics such as student financial assistance, scholarships and ways to evaluate colleges in the selection process.
About your hosts: Student Alumni Board
The Student Alumni Board is a group of 30 current K-State students selected to represent the university to high school students, their parents and alumni. These students are well-informed about university topics and opportunities. They look forward to sharing this information with you at For Sophomores Only and K-State's All-University Open House.

Friday, April 23 — students only
7- 7:45 p.m. Registration for students at the K-State Student Union, second floor
7:45 - 10 p.m. Welcome, fun activities and group discussions
10 - 11 p.m. Social activity
11 p.m. Students picked up at K-State Student Union
Saturday, April 24 — students and parents
7:15 a.m. Breakfast and Saturday only registration at the K-State Student Union, second floor
8 a.m. Virtual College session for students
8 a.m. Parent seminar on admissions, financial aid and scholarships
10 a.m. Guest speaker for parents and students on preparing for college
10:45 a.m. Adjourn to attend All-University Open House and the K-State football Spring Game.
Cost
Friday and Saturday: $25 — Includes Friday night snack, Saturday morning breakfast, T-shirt and all materials and activities.
Saturday only: $22 — Includes Saturday morning breakfast, T-shirt and all materials and day activities.

Deadline to register is Wednesday, April 14. Early registration is encouraged due to limited space. Confirmations will be sent to registrants.

Rooms are reserved for Friday and Saturday nights for parents and students attending For Sophomores Only. To make your reservation, call the Clarion Hotel at (785) 539-5311 for a rate of $85 per night (plus tax). Please reserve rooms by Monday, April 5, and specify you're part of For Sophomores Only.
