K-State Alumni Career Services is a new benefit for K-State alumni. The career services program was created in August 2007 as a partnership between the Alumni Association and K-State Career and Employment Services.
This decision was based on trends in higher education and the results of our recent alumni survey. When asked what sort of benefits/services alumni would like to see added to current offerings, 70 percent stated they would likely utilize career services.
K-State Alumni Career Services offers a broad range of
free and fee-based services. In addition to assistance with resumes, cover letters, networking, career decision-making and job search strategizing, monthly group orientation seminars are offered covering career services resources, job strategies, resume preparation, networking skills and more.
All K-State alumni are invited to use
CareerShift, a comprehensive online career tool. Search, select and store
job listings from all
job boards and all
company job postings. Get up-to-date
contact information, including email addresses, for
millions of companies. Access
in-depth information about contacts and companies posting jobs. Record, save and store your
correspondence history records automatically and much more!
