Homecoming Parade

K-State alumni, friends and the Manhattan community gather for the highlight of Homecoming week! The 2014 Homecoming parade will take place 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24.

Each year special K-Staters are selected to serve as grand marshalls. K-State students show off their parade entries and Homecoming-themed floats throughout downtown Manhattan and Aggieville. K-State alumni, former Wildcat football standouts and brothers Kevin Lockett (father of Tyler Lockett, current K-State football wide receiver) and Aaron Lockett (uncle of Tyler Lockett) will serve as grand marshals for the 2014 parade. Read more details about the grand marshals.

Pep Rally
Immediately following the parade, join K-Staters for the spirit-filled pep rally at the Larry Norvell Band Shell in City Park! The KSU Pep Band, cheerleaders, Classy Cats and Willie will be on hand to rev the crowd for Saturday's football game against Texas. The pep rally will feature several K-State guests including head football coach Bill Snyder and head women's basketball coach Jeff Mittie.

The winners of each Homecoming event and the overall Homecoming winners for each category will only be announced at the pep rally.
