K-State presents second annual Rhapsody! concert in Kansas City

Join fellow K-Staters on May 10 as the Kansas State University Grand Chorus presents the second annual Rhapsody! concert in the Helzberg Hall at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, Missouri.

The event will feature the K-State Grand Chorus production of Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living, with professional orchestra members of the Kansas City Symphony and Kansas Civic Orchestra; the K-State Concert Choir performing a series in honor of Mother's Day; K-State Women's Choir; K-State's acapella group In-A-Chord, performing a tribute to K-State; and fellow alumna and professional organist Jan Kraybill. Kraybill also is the conservator of the Julia Irene Kauffman Casavant organ at the Kauffman Center.

Tickets start at $10. Three sections of seating have sold out and four other sections have nearly sold out. Purchase tickets here. In addition, Rhapsody VIP packages, including premium seating, post-concert reception with hors d'oeuvres, are available to purchase here. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit K-State student scholarships and performance opportunities within the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
