Outstanding Internal Program: Student Alumni Board Membership Review
Outstanding Student Leader: Canaan Coker, SAB vice president of campus programming, Shawnee, Kansas
Outstanding Adviser: Amanda Lee, SAB adviser and assistant director of student programs for the Alumni Association

Students in SAB work to enhance the K-State experience by creating a link between the Alumni Association and past, present and future students.

"We were excited to see that SAB continues to be such a strong group on both a regional and national level," Lee said.

SAB members' responsibilities include planning and hosting programs to recruit prospective K-State students, such as the For Sophomores Only program for high school sophomores, and the Just For Juniors program for high school juniors and their parents. SAB members also coordinate and assist with Wildcats Forever Student Alumni Association, Grad Bash, the Distinguished Young Alumni Award, the Junior Wildcats Club and other Alumni Association programs and events.

Additionally, 19 K-State students recently were selected to serve on SAB. In total, SAB has approximately 40 members. This year's new members range in class year and include one international and two out-of-state students.
