The K-State Alumni Association recently announced the addition of discounts on select McCain Performance Series shows as a new benefit for Alumni Association members.

Alumni Association members will receive discounts of 15 percent off the price of a regularly priced adult ticket (pit seats excluded) on three or four select McCain Performance Series shows each semester. Upcoming shows this semester that qualify for the new discount include Christmas with the King's Singers; Dancing Pros Live; The Chieftains; and Michael Feinstein's "The Sinatra Project."

To find out more details on the performances and how to purchase a discounted ticket, members can visit or call 800-600-ALUM (2586) with questions.

"We know members are interested in attending cultural events on campus and we are now happy to offer an additional benefit to our members," said Megan Jurgensmeier, associate director of membership. "It's our way of showing thanks to all of our alumni and friends who continue to support K-State."

Members' support has made the K-State Alumni Association No. 1 in the Big 12 Conference for 18 consecutive years based on the percentage of graduates who are members.

Top membership benefits include the K-Stater magazine, the annual wall calendar, discounts on select athletic tickets and 10 percent off at all Varney's locations. To see a full list of member benefits, visit
