The K-State Alumni Association is now on Instagram, the mobile photo-sharing social network that enables users to take pictures and share them with friends and other followers. Check out our new Instagram account @kstatealumni. The K-State Alumni Association is launching several new weekly and monthly interactive posts on its Facebook and Twitter accounts to connect K-Staters by sharing memories and building Purple Pride. We are replacing Memory Lane Monday and Friday Photo Fun with four new social media features.

A new "Member Monday" weekly feature highlighting membership promotions and benefits also will include member profiles to share news about K-State Alumni Association members.

"Throw Back Thursday," also a weekly feature, will highlight K-State nostalgia and rekindle memories from your time on campus.

A monthly "Purple Pride" feature will build on everyone's passion for K-State. Followers will be asked to share photos displaying their favorite ways to let everyone know they are Wildcat fans. Photos can range from home, office or vehicle decor to the famous K-S-U pose to striking photos of "purple" found in everyday life. You will be able to submit your photos at for a chance to be featured on Facebook or Twitter.

Another new monthly feature will be "Little Apple Life," which will highlight a business or activity in Manhattan, Kansas, that alumni would enjoy on trips back to their alma mater.

LinkedIn provides an exclusive environment for alumni and friends to network professionally with K-Staters across the globe. Join the Alumni Association's online community to connect with K-Staters and receive weekly updates on career advice, as well as K-State news relevant to a national and international audience.

Be sure to check out the changes starting Dec. 7 and follow the K-State Alumni Association on social media.
