The Kansas State University Graduate School invites alumni to take a walk down memory lane and return to campus for the 2016 Graduate School reunion April 8-9. Alumni will enjoy a variety of events, including networking opportunities, campus and facility tours, a reception and dinner.

“The Graduate School Alumni Reunion is a perfect time to reconnect with classmates, faculty and K-State administrators, witness current graduate student research and explore campus,” said Kelsey Peterson '13, Graduate School marketing and communications coordinator. “From graduate alumni who haven't been back since graduation, to those who frequent campus, to everyone in between, is welcome and encouraged to come back.”

Registration deadline is March 28.

Throughout the weekend, several special tours and events have been planned just for reunion attendees. Friday will include tours of campus facilities such as the Biosecurity Research Institute and the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art. Then, alumni are invited to spend Friday afternoon reconnecting with their department by interacting with graduates students and faculty and observing current research opportunities happening at K-State. The evening will conclude by celebrating the richness of African traditions of voice and song of Acoustic Africa with Habib Koite and Vusi Mahlasela at McCain Auditorium and a private reception with the show's stars immediately following the show.

Saturday's activities include tours of the K-State campus and the city of Manhattan, K-State Athletics facilities, University Gardens, Insect Zoo and hors d’oeuvres and a tour of K-State President Kirk Schulz's residence. Saturday will conclude with a reception and dinner at the K-State Alumni Center.
