Wabash CannonBall Kansas City celebrates 10 years

K-State Alumni Communications

Wabash CannonBall Kansas City celebrated 10 years of dining, dancing and donating with a milestone black-tie gala Feb. 26 at the Overland Park Convention Center. The event drew a crowd of nearly 800 K-State alumni, supporters and university administrators. In the first nine years, the event has built an endowment over $1.8 million and funded more than 300 scholarships — totaling $770,000 — for Kansas City-area high school students to attend K-State.

The next Wabash CannonBall event will be in Colorado on Aug. 12 at the Pinnacle Club in the Grand Hyatt Denver. For more information on purchasing tickets for the Colorado Wabash CannonBall, call 800-600-ALUM (2586) or visit http://www.k-state.com/s/1173/index4cont.aspx?sid=1173&gid=1&pgid=3936
