K-State celebrates Homecoming from coast to coast

Alumni, students, friends and fans celebrated the 99th annual K-State Homecoming: Coast to Coast on Oct. 19-25. The Homecoming activities bring K-Staters back to Manhattan, Kansas, each year to support their alma mater and celebrate traditions.

"Our alumni are engaged in so many ways that keep them connected to the university and the wonderful students of today," said April Mason, provost and senior vice president, in a recent memo on her reflections about Homecoming.

 2015 Student Ambassadors
K-State Student Ambassadors represent the student body at K-State Alumni Association events throughout Kansas and at university activities. 

At the Homecoming football game Saturday, Oct. 25, Nathan Laudan and Katie VanDever were presented with their commemorative rings as they were named the 2015 Student Ambassadors.

 Homecoming Philanthropy 5K Run/Walk
This year's 5K raised funds for Special Olympics Kansas. A total of 887 students and non-students participated in this year's race. Find full race results here.
