You can show your support for Kansas State University basketball at the upcoming College Basketball Experience Hall of Fame Classic on Nov. 23-24 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Tickets are now available for the annual early-season college basketball tournament, which will feature K-State vs. Missouri at 6 p.m. Nov. 23. Consolation and championship games for the four teams selected to participate in the tournament will take place the following day.

“We are extremely excited about the opportunity to play in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic,” said K-State men's basketball head coach Bruce Weber. “The challenge of playing programs like Missouri, North Carolina and Northwestern in a world-class venue like the Sprint Center will provide our team a great warm-up for the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship later in the year. Obviously, we have a tremendous fan base in Kansas City, and this will be another occasion for them to pack the building with purple.”

The tournament is named after the College Basketball Experience, an interactive college basketball fan facility adjacent to the Sprint Center, which also features the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. The College Basketball Experience is the nation's only facility that celebrates, in its entirety, the sport of men's collegiate basketball. The tournament, in partnership with the National Association of Basketball Coaches, was initially established in 2001 as the Guardians Classic.

You also can purchase tickets for the 2015 National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Celebration at 8 p.m. Nov. 20. This year’s ceremony includes former K-State basketball player Rolando Blackman ’81. He averaged 15.2 points, five rebounds and two assists for coach Jack Hartman at K-State and was a three-time Big 8 All-Conference player and player of the year in 1980. He also was named to the all-time all-Big 8 first team in 1996.
