You can help future Kansas State University graduates get a jumpstart on their careers — and make a good first impression — by donating business clothing items to the K-State Career and Employment Services’ Career Closet. The program allows K-State students to obtain business attire from a wide selection of clothing donated by faculty, staff and alumni, as well as other professionals. The business attire helps students make a good impression at career fairs, internships, interviews and more.

For your convenience, on gameday, Sept. 5, you may drop off your Career Closet donations at the Alumni Center from 2-5 p.m. Donations will be collected in the Barrett Wildcat Den behind the Reception Desk.

Donate new or gently-used clothing, all sizes, in the business casual to business professional range for men and women. The Career Closet currently has a special need for men’s clothing. Suggested items include men’s and women's suits; blouses and shirts; men’s and women's dress pants; belts, ties and accessories; and gently-worn shoes. No jeans or T-shirts, please.

Clothes should be cleaned prior to donation. They should be good to excellent quality and purchased within the last five years/current with fashion. Donations are tax deductible. Click here for a donation form and valuation guide. Forms also will be available at the collection site Sept. 5.

Thank you for helping support our K-State students!
