Uncover Europe’s timeless treasures as you sail the seas around Italy, taking in remarkable natural wonders and historic monuments. Embark on your luxury cruise aboard Riviera in Civitavecchia, and sail to Sorrento. Overlooking the breathtaking Bay of Naples, near the legendary ruins of Pompeii, the town delights with cobblestone streets, a seaside promenade, and spirited southern Italian culture. Catania, the next stop, displays a youthful vibrancy in trendy taverns and upmarket bistros and boutiques while Valletta, the following port, brims with history, culture, and old-world beauty. Take in Corfu’s lush landscape before sailing the Adriatic Sea to Kotor, to view its Venetian architecture; Split, to wander through Diocletian’s Palace (which the Croatian town is built around); Ravenna, to see its UNESCO-listed mosaics and monuments; and Rijeka, to walk the city’s promenade and observe the Austro-Hungarian architecture. Finally, overnight in captivating Venice. Discover it by water, or stroll through the winding narrow alleyways to find hidden piazzas, romantic trattorias, and charming shops.
