Glaciers

Begin your journey in Seward, an Alaskan coastal city that is home to Kenai Fjords National Park and is the starting point of the historic Iditarod Trail. Spend two days taking in the coastline of Alaska as you cruise down College Fjord and past Hubbard Glacier. In Icy Strait Point, visit the salmon cannery, watch for whales spouting at Point Adolphus feeding area, or visit nearby Hoonah, a Tlingit fishing village. Juneau, the capital city of Alaska, offers upscale dining and shopping as well as opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Discover Skagway’s Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park before traveling to Sitka, where you can see some of Alaska’s oldest indigenous art. Experience the unique culture of Ketchikan, a city backed by steep, forested slopes and fringed by a pristine waterfront, not far from the Tongass National Forest. Your cruise will conclude in Vancouver, a gateway to the wilderness of western Canada, but before that, spend two days cruising the sea to Nanaimo, a thriving city center that offers travelers a diverse mélange of galleries, shops, and museums.

Pricing starts at $3,999 per person, double occupancy (airfare included from select cities).
