The K-State Alumni Association and Student Homecoming Committee are proud to announce this year’s Homecoming theme: Purple Pride Worldwide.

Kansas State University’s 2017 Homecoming Week will take place Oct. 15-21. The week marks K-State’s 102nd Homecoming celebration. Kansas State University students, alumni, families and friends are invited to participate in the events and activities.

“Homecoming is about celebrating the history and traditions of K-State,” said Marcus Kidd, assistant director of student programs for the Alumni Association. “That’s what makes this time of year so special. Homecoming is also about celebrating our K-State pride that is seen all over the world. We are so proud of the more than 182,000 K-Staters that have graduated from K-State, and it’s awesome that we have approximately 4,400 alumni abroad. For many of our alumni and friends, K-State can be celebrated from any location, which was one of the inspirations behind this year’s Homecoming theme: Purple Pride Worldwide.”

Fraternities and sororities, residence halls and student organizations interested in participating in Homecoming are invited to attend the Homecoming meeting at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 28, at the K-State Alumni Center. Learn how to get involved in Homecoming Week activities such as Pant the Chant, Wildcat Request Live, the Homecoming parade and more.

All Homecoming events are open to the public. Homecoming is a universitywide celebration coordinated by the K-State Alumni Association and sponsored by AT&T. The most updated Homecoming information is available here.
