K-State Alumni Association promotes six staff members

The K-State Alumni Association announced the promotion of six staff members, effective July 1, 2017. Staff receiving promotions:  

Lynn Beier was promoted from assistant to the president and CEO to executive assistant to the president and CEO. She will continue to support the president and CEO in scheduling and communications, coordination of activities with the board of directors and in supporting initiatives with campus associates. Lynn has been with the Alumni Association for 25 years.

Crystal Danker was promoted from Information Services coordinator to assistant director of records management. She will help manage daily operations of the alumni database and records management, while also coordinating information requests from the Alumni Association’s user groups. Crystal has been with the Alumni Association for 21 years.

Travis Jensen was promoted from custodial specialist to Alumni Center facility specialist. In addition to providing custodial and room coordination services, he will also assist with maintenance projects and special requests. Travis has been with the Alumni Association for seven years.            

Asha Nagaraja was promoted from assistant to the senior vice president and accountant to accounting manager and human resources coordinator. She manages the daily financial operations and audit procedures, and coordinates all human resource documentation and filings. Asha has been with the Alumni Association for 15 years.     

Ashley Pauls was promoted from communications coordinator to assistant editor. She manages and edits the Alumni Association’s @K-State monthly electronic newsletter, supports the K-Stater magazine and assists with other communications initiatives. Ashley has been with the Alumni Association for two years.

Kim Ralston was promoted from manager of electronic communications and social media to assistant director of digital communications. She will continue to manage the Alumni Association’s digital communications efforts, including all social media platforms, broadcast emails and the website, as well as manage marketing efforts for the Alumni Association’s mobile application – K-State Alumni Link for Life. Kim has been with the Alumni Association for four years.
