My K-State Gateway

What is My K-State Gateway?
Provided by the K-State Alumni Association and KSU FoundationMy K-State Gateway is a one-stop destination for alumni, donors and friends to manage their connection to K-State. 

You can RSVP for an event, see your giving history, download your gift receipts, manage your Alumni Association membership, read your digital K-Stater magazine and more!

This new portal system was launched in August 2021.  Even if you have accessed your giving history or registered for an event in the past, you will need to create a new account for this new system. Resetting your password won't work due to the system change. Please click "first-time user" user to set up a new account and establish a new user name and password.

How to get started:

  1. Visit My K-State Gateway
  2. Click “First Time User”
  3. Authenticate your account by providing your name, birthdate and email address that you’ve previously provided K-State.
  4. Check your email account for your confirmation.

Why should I create a log-in for My K-State Gateway?
We highly recommend that you log into My K-State Gateway for an optimal experience, as doing so will pre-populate most of the information required to register for an event, provide you with your giving history and tax receipts and allow you to manage your Alumni Association membership. Members of the Alumni Association who are logged in will also be able to view the digital version of the K-Stater magazine.

What if I forgot my username?
A helpful hint is that your username is most likely the email we have on file for you. If you forgot your username, please email the Alumni Association at alumni@k-state.com.

What if I forgot my password?
For security reasons, the K-State Alumni Association and KSU Foundation do not keep passwords on file. To reset your password, click the Forgot Password link on the My K-State Gateway Login Page and follow the instructions on the page.

Why am I unable to register using my Facebook or LinkedIn Accounts?
In order to register using your social media accounts, the email used as your My K-State Gateway username must match the email associated with those accounts. 

How do I view and edit fields in My Profile?
Login to your account  and navigate to My Profile to view your Biographical Details, Contact Information and Degree Information. To make changes, select the ‘Edit’ button on the top right corner of each page. When finished, click the ‘Apply Changes’ button to save.

How do I edit my profile photo?
Login to your account and navigate to My Profile. At the top of the page, click the blue photo icon to edit your profile picture. Click the “Upload Files” button to select a photo from your desktop for upload (please note that photos should be under 1 mb and proportionally square). Once selected, press the “Upload Attachment” button to make it your new profile photo.

How do I change my physical address or other information with K-State?
Login to your account and click on the “Contact” tab in My Profile to change your address or other information.
