Student Alumni Board, a program of the K-State Alumni Association, is seeking nominations for its Distinguished Young Alumni Award.

The award, which was established in 2012, recognizes two Kansas State University graduates who are using the leadership and service experience they acquired at K-State to excel in their professions and contribute to their communities.
"The Distinguished Young Alumni Award recognizes alumni under the age of 35 who are succeeding professionally and using the knowledge they gained at K-State to make the world around them a better place," said Jessica Elmore, associate director of alumni programs for the Alumni Association and SAB adviser.

Anyone may nominate a graduate for this award. The nominee must be 35 or younger as of Nov. 6, 2020, and have graduated from K-State. Nominations are due by midnight on Nov. 6. Questions can be directed to Elmore at 785-532-5060 or jelmore@k-state.com.

Selections will be made by a committee of Student Alumni Board members and members of the Alumni Association board of directors. The award recipients will be notified in November. Award recipients will have an opportunity to deliver keynote speeches and spend time speaking to students and university classes.
