K-State Alumni Association names search committee for next president and CEO

The K-State Alumni Association’s board of directors has appointed a committee to lead a national search for the Alumni Association’s next president and CEO.

Chairing the committee will be Candace Hart Duncan ’75, Bethesda, Maryland, chair of the K-State Alumni Association board of directors. Global Executive Search and Leadership Advisory Firm, WittKieffer Inc., will support the search process.  

Search committee members include:

  • John Grice ’12, Madison, Wisconsin, annual giving manager, Barack Obama Foundation
  • Emily Howard, Eudora, Kansas, K-State junior in professional strategic selling, Student Alumni Board president
  • Nabeeha Kazi Hutchins ’96, Washington, D.C., immediate past chair, K-State Alumni Association board of directors
  • Steve Lacy ’76, ’77, Des Moines, Iowa, member, K-State Alumni Association board of directors
  • Thomas Lane, Manhattan, Kansas, vice president of student life and dean of students, Kansas State University
  • Chancy Montera Love ’07, Denver, Colorado, 2024 chair-elect, K-State Alumni Association board of directors
  • Tim Oswalt ’93, Oak Harbor, Washington, 2023 chair-elect, K-State Alumni Association board of directors
  • Usha Reddi ’03, Manhattan, Kansas, state senator Dist. 22 and Manhattan city commissioner
  • Brad Sidener ’80, Manhattan, Kansas, senior vice president and COO, K-State Alumni Association

“At this pivotal time for the K-State Alumni Association, I am excited that we have a search committee of dedicated university and Alumni Association supporters,” Duncan said. “I am confident we will find an exceptional individual to lead our Alumni Association into the next chapter of lifelong connections to K-State."

Current president and CEO Amy Button Renz ’76, ’86 will retire from the K-State Alumni Association after more than 45 years of service to Kansas State University. Her last day will be at end of the Alumni Association’s fiscal year on June 30.
