Then, Now, Forever: Looking ahead to the future of the K-State Alumni Association
We’re K-State’s No. 1 advocate.
We’re the keepers of tradition.
We reach out to K-Staters wherever they live, connect them to their alma mater, and
serve the K-State community any way we can.
This year, the K-State Alumni Association is celebrating 150 years of history and
purple pride, and we’re excited for what’s ahead!
Our new strategic plan is more than just a document; it’s a roadmap for how we’re
looking forward to growing and evolving into the future as we support the mission
of Next-Gen K-State.
“After celebrating 150 years, we are excited to launch a new vision and strategic
plan to transform, support and enhance K-State’s overall vision of a next-generation
land-grant university,” said Adam Walker ’04, ’09, Alumni Association president and
CEO. “The Alumni Association will continue our mission to reach, connect and serve
all members of the K-State community. These priorities will shape and enhance our
ability to excel and elevate the K-State experience for all.”
Here are a few things from the new strategic plan that we’re excited to highlight:
“The board of directors is excited to share the updated strategic plan with members of the K-State Alumni Association,” said Chancy Montera Love ’07, chair of the Alumni Association’s board of directors. “This allows the Association to continue our history of supporting the K-State Community while positioning us to serve our members, K-Staters and the state of Kansas well into the future. We look forward to continuing to support the university’s efforts in fulfilling their land-grant mission.”
