K-State students recognized for school spirit in 2026 Homecoming competitions
Hundreds of students participated in this year’s Homecoming celebration from Oct. 11-17. Each year the Student Homecoming Committee and the K-State Alumni Association organize an annual student competition among fraternities and sororities, residence halls and student organizations to promote school spirit.
This year’s overall winners are Alpha Delta Pi, Delta Chi and Delta Upsilon in the fraternity and sorority division; the Black Student Union in the student division; and Haymaker Hall in the residence halls division.
“This year’s K-State Homecoming theme, ‘Chapters of K-State,’ was a celebration of the ways K-State is a part of the different chapters of our lives,” said Karadan Kinsey ’25, Homecoming chair and assistant director of student programs for the Alumni Association. “From spirited competitions to campus-wide participation, the energy throughout the week was electric. The ideas and enthusiasm from our participants truly brought the theme to life. The committee successfully pulled off one of the best Homecomings yet.”
