Don’t forget to vote for 2027 K-State Student Ambassadors
Happy Homecoming Week, Wildcats! Each year since 1977 the Kansas State University student body has elected two Student Ambassadors during All-University Homecoming to represent their peers and the K-State Alumni Association at alumni and university events. This week, K-State students will continue that tradition, electing the 50th set of Student Ambassadors.
Students may vote for two candidates of their choice here. Online voting will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15.
Ambassadors serve a one-year term, and each receive the Kirk Family Student Ambassador Scholarship of $2,500, clothing from Borck Bros. and the official K-State ring from the Alumni Association.
This year’s candidates are:
- Brooklyn Countryman
- Lucy Roy
- Riley Schalk
- Matthew Hendricks

The winners will be announced during the Homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 17.
Homecoming has been a tradition at K-State for more than 100 years. This year’s theme is “Chapters of K-State.” The theme connects the ways K-State is a part of the different chapters of our lives.
The week-long celebration, coordinated by the Homecoming Committee, will take place from Oct. 11-17 and is sponsored by the K-State Alumni Association. To stay up-to-date on all 2026 Homecoming activities, visit k-state.com/Homecoming.
