Duane Webber is a principal with Baker McKenzie LLP, a global law firm with more than 70 offices in 46 countries around the world. Webber’s practice focuses on resolving high stakes tax disputes involving international and domestic tax issues in the U.S. and elsewhere.
Webber has led advocacy teams in hundreds of administrative tax dispute resolution and tax litigation matters, including litigation in the U.S. Tax Court, numerous federal courts, and courts in various other countries. Over 40 years Webber has led or participated in some of the most important tax cases that have helped to shape U.S. and international tax law. He has represented individuals, foreign governments, and companies in various industries, including aerospace and defense, high-tech, electronics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automotive, and various others. Webber also has served in numerous leadership roles in Baker McKenzie, including Global Tax Group Chair, member of the Global Executive Committee, and others.
Webber earned two bachelor’s degrees from K-State in 1981 in accounting and humanities.
Webber has six children, Jessica, David, Michelle, Samantha, Aydin and Dominik. He is married to Dominika Korytek.
