Kansas City-area K-Staters turn out for the Wabash CannonBall gala each year to raise money for area high school students who plan to attend K-State. The black tie gala is always a grand time for Wildcats. Thank you to the more than 900 guests who attended our 14th annual event Feb. 28 at the Overland Park Convention Center!

To date, the gala has awarded nearly 700 scholarships for Kansas City-area students totaling nearly $1.7 million. The Wabash CannonBall Kansas City also has funded a scholarship endowment fund totaling nearly $2.8 million.

"These scholarships are a critical element of continuing to attract talented, bright students to K-State," said Barry ’80 and Shelly ’81 Sullivan, the 2020 Wabash CannonBall co-chairs. "Your generous support will continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of these young people."
