Student Alumni Board Application Process:

  • We are asking for all applicants to make a 50-60 second video of an elevator pitch for why you would be a great fit for SAB and why you would like to join. Name your video using your first and last name, and email the video by attachment file or a link, by Jan. 24, 2024, at 12 p.m. (noon):
  • Submit the online application by Jan. 24, 2024, at 12 p.m. (noon)

2023-2024 dates to add to your calendar for SAB applicants:

  • SAB informational session - Thursday, Nov. 16, 5:30 p.m., K-State Alumni Center
  • SAB informational session - Monday, Jan. 22, 5:30 p.m., K-State Alumni Center
  • First round interview - Thursday, Feb. 1, all afternoon
  • Second round interview - Sunday, Feb. 11, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • New member orientation - Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 4 p.m.
  • SAB monthly meeting - Monday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m.
  • SAB monthly meeting - Monday, March 25, at 6 p.m.
  • For Sophomores Only event - Friday, April 5, and Saturday, April 6

Current students are very important to the K-State Alumni Association. That's why we have the Student Alumni Board, an enthusiastic group of about 35 students whose primary purpose is to promote K-State and create a link between the Alumni Association and past, present and future students. The group was created in 1981 by the Alumni Association in an effort to involve more students in Association activities. Over the years, SAB activities have grown, and members continue to become more involved in a variety of events.
