Student Alumni Board – Here's how to apply
Step 1:
- All applicants should make a 50-60 second video of why you would be a great fit for SAB and why you would like to join.
- Name your video using your first and last name, and send an MP4 file (not a link) through Microsoft Teams to Brandon Moreno, associate director of engagement and belonging, by Sunday, Jan. 24, 2027, at 11:59 p.m.
- If you are unfamiliar with Microsoft Teams, please reach out to Brandon at bmoreno@k-state.com and he would be happy to walk you through the process.

- Submit the application using our online form by Sunday, Jan. 24, 2027, at 11:59 p.m.
Step 3:
- 2026-2027 dates to add to your calendar for SAB applicants:
- Application opens - Monday, Nov. 2, 2026
- SAB informational session - Monday, Nov. 16, 2026, 6 p.m., K-State Alumni Center
- SAB informational session - Monday, Jan. 19, 2027, 6 p.m., Staley School of Leadership
- Application closes - Sunday, Jan. 24, 2027, 11:59 p.m.
- First round interview (10 min.) - Thursday, Feb. 4, 1-4 p.m.
- Second round interview (10 min.) - Sunday, Feb. 7, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., Big 12 Room, K-State Student Union
- Dates for new members
- New member orientation - Thursday, Feb. 11, 4 p.m.
- New member training - Every week starting Monday, Feb. 15
