Oklahoma K-State License Plate

About the Scholarship:

The Oklahoma License Plate Scholarship program supports Oklahoma high school seniors planning to attend Kansas State University. Funded through the K-State License Plate Program, this $2,000 scholarship gives preference to children and grandchildren of K-State alumni. Approximately four scholarships are awarded each spring for the upcoming academic year. Please note that not all qualifying students will receive this scholarship.

Scholarship Details:

  • Award Amount: $2,000 for the academic school year
  • Disbursement: $1,000 at the start of the fall semester, $1,000 at the start of the spring semester
  • Renewal: Non-renewable

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for the 2026–2027 scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a high school senior residing in Oklahoma 
  • Be an incoming freshman or first-time transfer student in any curriculum
  • Indicate on your K-State admissions application that you have a parent, guardian or grandparent who graduated from K-State
  • Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours per semester

***Scholarship recipients are selected solely by the university scholarship committee, not by the K-State Alumni Association.
