Rob Schneider ’79, Hinsdale, Illinois, has been an investment professional for over four decades, and co-founded Prairie Capital Management in 1995, where he is the managing partner.

Prior to joining Prairie Capital, he was one of the first individuals selected by Kidder, Peabody & Co. in the late 1980s to participate in its investment consulting program for high-net-worth individuals and entities.

Schneider serves or has served on the board of trustees of the KSU Foundation, the KSU Foundation Asset Management Committee, and the K-State College of Business Finance Advisory Board.

He and his wife, Denise, have three adult children, Elizabeth, Emily and Will, and five grandchildren, Charlie, Jack, Dalton, George and Beckett. 

Schneider earned bachelor’s degrees in finance and business marketing from K-State in 1979.
