Technology and Aviation Fellow

Kirk Demuth ’07, Boulder, Colorado, is the Vice President of Operations at Perennial Climate, a remote sensing and AI/ML data modeling company, where he leads the company’s internal and external operations, data collection and customer delivery teams.

Demuth is a former co-founder and COO of RoboFlight Systems and has previously served as a COO at Air Data Solutions, both aerial remote sensing data collection companies utilizing piloted and remote piloted aircraft.

Demuth earned two degrees from K-State in 2007: a bachelor’s degree in technology management and an associate’s degree in airway science. He holds a commercial pilot certificate with a certified flight instructor rating. Demuth previously served as Unmanned Aircraft Systems or UAS program manager and Chief UAS Pilot at K-State’s College of Technology and Aviation from 2009 to 2013.

Demuth serves on the K-State UAS Academic Advisory Board. He and his wife, Kerri, have four children, Cooper, Kinsley, Kolby and a foster son.
